- Tap the' Extended' button to access Quote It's background collection.
- Scroll down to explore more images in the background collection. Once you find your preferred background image, tap on it, and the app will download.
- Once the download is complete, the quote will automatically feature the newly selected background. There's no need to save the changes manually, as they will be saved automatically.
In addition to Quote It's background collection, users can upload their personalized backgrounds saved on their devices. To upload images from your device to the app, follow these steps:
- On the home page, select a quote that you want to set a personalized background.
- After choosing a quote, tap the 'Open' button in the quote's menu. This will open the display page.
- On the display page, tap the 'Background' button.
- Tap the 'Upload' button to access your device's gallery.
- In your image gallery, select the preferred image.
- Quote It will automatically use the selected image as the background. There is no need to save the changes, as they will be saved automatically.
To modify the font style utilized for quotes and authors, adhere to these instructions:
- Select the quote on the homepage for which you wish to substitute the font style.
- Once a quote has been chosen, click the 'Open' button found in the quote's menu. This action will prompt the display page to open.
- On the display page, click the 'Text' button.
- Subsequently, press the 'Font' button.
- Opt for either 'Quote' or 'Author' from the provided dropdown menu. Opting for the 'Quote' choice will alter the font style of the quote, whereas selecting the alternative option will modify the font style of the author.
- Finally, click on your preferred font style to apply the changes.

- After choosing a quote, tap the 'Open' button found in the quote's menu. This will open the display page.
- On the display page, tap the 'Tint' button.
- Adjust the tint by tapping and dragging the thumb of the slider to the right to increase it. Pulling it back to the left will decrease the tint.

- Then, select the 'Theme' option.
- Choose your preferred theme color by tapping on the pre-selected colors, or select the 'Custom' button to opt for a personalized color.
- Tap the desired color on the color wheel, or glide your finger across the wheel to pinpoint a specific color. Additionally, you can fine-tune the color's contrast by adjusting the RGB slider.
- Finally, tap the 'Apply' button to save your chosen color preference.
Saving a quote is a straightforward process that requires just one tap. Follow these steps:
- Locate the 'Save' button positioned under the quote's menu.
- Tap the 'Save' button once, and your chosen quote will be instantly saved. A heart icon will appear filled to indicate that the quote has been saved.
- Should you wish to remove the quote from your saved list, simply tap the 'Save' button again.

- For added information, you have the option to include the author's name by tapping the author's field.
- Once you've input the desired details, tap the save button (represented by a checkmark icon) to store the quote.
If you need to remove a quote you've added, follow these steps:
- Access the 'My Quotes' page by tapping the main menu button situated at the top-left corner of the home page. Please note that only quotes you've added can be deleted; default app quotes cannot be removed.
- Proceed to tap the 'My Quotes' option.
- Identify the quote you want to delete and tap the corresponding 'Delete' button.
- Confirm the deletion by tapping the 'Yes' button. This action will finalize the removal.
To share your preferred quote in other apps, follow these steps:
- Locate the quote you wish to share and tap the 'Share' button linked to that particular quote.
- Upon tapping the 'Share' button, an app picker will appear, showcasing a list of applications on your device. Select the app you intend to share the quote with by tapping on it.
- Proceed with the sharing process according to the guidelines of the chosen app. Once you have successfully shared the quote with the third-party app, you will be automatically redirected to Quote It's display page.
Saving a quote to your device is a straightforward process. Just follow these steps:
- Start by choosing the quote you wish to download.
- Tap the 'Open' button linked to that quote.
- In the top-right corner of the display page, tap the download button.
- As you tap the button, a screenshot of your quote will be saved to your device.
To access your added quotes, follow these steps:
- Begin by tapping the main menu button situated at the top-left corner of the home page. This will open the menu.
- From the menu, choose the 'My Quotes' option.
- On the 'My Quotes' page, you will find a collection of all the quotes that you have personally added to Quote It.
To access your saved quotes, follow these steps:
- Begin by tapping the main menu button situated at the top-left corner of the home page. This action will open the menu.
- From the menu, choose the 'Saved Quotes' option.
- On the 'Saved Quotes' page, you will have the ability to view all the quotes that you have saved.
Downloaded quotes are saved to your device. Simply navigate to the 'Download' folder on your device and look for the 'Quotes' folder. Inside this folder, you will be able to view all the downloaded quotes from Quote It.

By default, the Quote It app sends a daily random quote notification to your device at 6 AM. If you wish to customize the time for receiving these notifications, follow these steps:

- On the Settings page, tap the 'Daily Notification Time' field.

Quote It collects anonymous data, like when your app crashes, that we use to improve the app across a wide array of devices. We also use your advertising identifier to serve your ads. We don't collect any of your personal information. Your quotes are stored on your device and will be cleared when you uninstall the Quote It app.
Disable anonymous usage data and personalized ads.
- Open the main menu in the top-left.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Data Privacy.
- Disable Personalized ads and Anonymous usage data.
Delete your device's data:
- Usually, you can simply uninstall Quote It from your Android or iOS device, which automatically clears app data.
- If you've enabled an app backup system inside your device's settings, you may need to manually clear your app data from Android or iOS.
