The widget tracker does not update automatically.

Both Android and iOS limit how often widgets can refresh. This is an effort to limit strain on your device's resources and conserve your device's battery life. Depending on your device's available resources, Fasting Time's widget should update about once every 30 minutes.

If this is not sufficient, you can make use of Fasting Time's widget service. This will update the widget frequently, but it could have a negative impact on your device's battery life.

  1. On your Home screen, open the Edit widget page by tapping the gear button located on the bottom-left corner of the widget.
  2. Look for the Refresh rate option.
  3. Slide the slider button to change the time reference.
  4. Tap the save button to save the changes.

Note: A higher refresh rate will update all of your widgets more frequently, but it will strain your device's battery. For iOS devices, you can only change the refresh rate setting on the Today's widget. The Home widget does not have this setting due to iOS limitations.
